El bestiario fantástico de Amparo Dávila y Guadalupe Dueñas

Resumen

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo mostrar la presencia de un bestiario fantástico en dos cuentos de las narradoras mexicanas Amparo Dávila y Guadalupe Dueñas. A través de la representación aparentemente sobrenatural de animales (sapo y gato), se enmascara la difícil situación de personajes femeninos quienes optan por creer en indicios fantásticos antes que enfrentarse a la realidad. 

Abstract:

The objective of this article is to detect the presence of a bestiary fantastic in two short stories by the Mexican writers Amparo Dávila and Guadalupe Dueñas. Through the seemingly supernatural representation of animals (toad and cat) is masked the difficult situation of female characters who choose to believe in fantastic clues rather than face reality.
