La novela Fruta verde, de Enrique Serna, a partir de diversas técnicas narrativas muestra su complejidad. El texto confeccionado  con los recursos de las memorias noveladas,  la escritura autobiográfica y la metaficción, a primera vista,  presenta la imagen de la  roman à clef, es decir, encubrir bajo la ficción una historia verdadera, en este caso, la biografía del autor. La metaficción contribuye en gran medida a esta percepción. El artículo analiza la técnica narrativa para determinar como la novela se configura en una obra de formación de la identidad erótica, sexual e intelectual del personaje Germán Lugo, quien aspira a ser escritor.      

Abstract

The novel Fruta verde (Green Fruit), written by Enrique Serna, shows its complexity based on different narrative techniques. The text seems to be made with resources of fictional memoirs, autobiographical writing and remarkable metafiction. At first glance, it presents the image of the roman à clef, that is to say, it conceals a true story under the fiction, which in this case it is the author´s biography. Therefore, metafiction contributes greatly to this perception. The article analyzes the narrative technique to determine how the novel is organized in the formation of the erotic, sexual and intellectual identity of the character Germán Lugo, who wants to become a writer.
